everyone seemed to like  the idea from last time so i think i'll do it again :)|
it also takes less time!

5 reasons why mistakes are great:

1. Mistakes are universal. Everyone makes them, from preschoolers to presidents. They give you something in common with the rest of the people on the planet.
2. Mistakes show that you're learning. Whether you incorrectly apply a geometry theorem or say something foolish in front of someone you're trying to impress, a mistake is a point of information that inspires you to do better next time you're in a similar situation.
3. Mistakes show that you're trying something new or different. It's rare that you (or anyone else) will accomplish something perfectly on your first attempt. If you had spent your whole life doing only those things you could master on your first try you'd never have learned to walk, read, or ride a bike.
4. Mistakes allow you to see your own improvements. If you had videotaped your first attempt at the backstroke, then videotaped yourself after three months of swimming lessons, you'd notice a significant change for the better.
5. Mistakes allow you to learn from others. Asking for help isn't the same as admitting you've failed.

7 Resiliencies that all teens need:

1. INSIGHT is the habit of asking tough questions- about yourself and about the situations you find yourself in- and giving honest answers. Insight  helps you see things as they really are, not as you wish they were.

2. INDEPENDENCE means being your own person. Sometimes that means stepping back from the pressure you feel from people and situations. Independence helps keep you focused on what you want out of life.

3. RELATIONSHIPS are connections with people who matter. Relationships provide a sense of belonging, opportunities to express yourself, and support when you need it.

4. INITIATIVE means facing life's challenges head-on. When you take initiative, you begin a positive cycle of solving problems, overcoming fears, and being a winner. Initiative puts you in charge.

5. CREATIVITY means using your imagination as a safe haven - a place where you're free to express yourself and rearrange the details of your life as you please. Creativity can help you channel overwhelming feelings and make them manageable.

6. HUMOR allows you to find what's funny, even when you're sad or in pain. It's a wonderful way to release tension and to relieve pain or embarrassment.

7. MORALITY means doing the right thing, even if it's not the easy or natural thing. It helps you connect to other people through being useful and careful. It helps you feel like you're a good person.

16 Safe Ways to Stay Awake

1. Do sit-ups or jumping jacks,  leg lifts or hand squeezes. Run in place. Take a brisk walk. Shake. Exercise gets your heart pumping and moves oxygen-rich blood through your circulatory system.

2. Rub your hands, arms, legs, and face- more ways to stimulate circulation.

3. Eat something crunchy. Try cheese and crackers, an apple, sunflower seeds, or celery sticks with peanut butter. Avoid sugary snacks. They'll give you a brief energy burst, followed by an ugly sugar crash.

4. Drink lots of water or juice.

5. Meditate. Find a comfortable place to sit; keep your spine straight; stare at a spot on the wall, or close  your eyes; breathe slowly, deeply, and rhythmically; and think about the same syllable, word, or short phrase over and over again. About ten minutes should clear your head.

6. Listen to stimulating music, prefferably without lyrics.. Working to music may improve your concentration by blocking out other noises.

7.  Turn up the lights, or turn on another light. Brighter is better when you're feeling sleepy.

8. Take a 15-minute break. Call a friend and talk. Play a video game. Surf the Web. Whatever.

9. Think wide-awake thoughts. Instead of "I'm so sleepy... I can't stand it... I'm so bored... I have to sleep." try "I won't give in. I will stay awake. I'm going to stay awake. I'm awake!"

10.Read aloud from what you're writing or studying.

11. Chew gum. Blow bubbles.

12. Take a cold shower or dip in a pool.

13. Open a window, especially if its cool outside.

14. Put ice cubes in your pants.

15. Drink a liter of carbonated water, then belch the alphabet.

16. If you simply can't keep your eyes open, set your alarm for half-hour or an hour and take a nap. Even a brief snooze will recharge your brain and body.
